I visited Jugoslavia several times but not for railway reasons - I always had a wife/girlfriend in tow! On my first visit in 1968 I was very naive about photography in Communist countries and was chased having been spotted photographing a ng train at Dubrovnik. I was back there in 1973 and rode the train on the, by then curtailed line, to Caplinja. Again I was very lucky having been caught 'bunking' the loco works at Caplinja.
